How to delete a downloaded update and stop it giving abiding instal notifications?

Recently got a Moto G4 Play with MPI24.241-2.35-1. Was repeatedly prompted to install update [to which I kept responding what substantially read "non now" or "mayhap later". Still, today I accidentally touched expanse too close to what indicated "update now". I could not figure out how to finish the download equally it progressed; and when it was done, I constitute nothing in the "downloads" folder.
At present, when I go to "Almost phone" > "System updates" > ... I go a page titled, "Install system update New version: MPIS24.241-2.35-1-xiii", "Update has been downloaded and is ready to install." [I accept not included the rest of the data on the page.] At bottom of page are ii choices: "Later" and "Install".
PLEASE, I do Non wish to install it, at present.
I apologize, but I am non knowledgeable in about of the 'technical' phrases and terms I accept read on this site. I hope to become more knowledgeable with time.

Open "Developer" status for Moto G4 Play
--Settings > Virtually phone > Build number [Repeatedly tap it and soon you'll read a small flashed sign --something shut to, "(#) more taps to Developer."
--Once it reads, "Y'all are a programmer," additional taps on the Build number will wink a sign, "No need, you lot are already a developer."
--Go dorsum to Settings and you lot see a new section "{ } Programmer options."

Access "Android Game--Marshmallow Land" on Moto G4 Play
--Settings > About phone > Android version [Quickly tap information technology 3x and fatty M on large colored circle appears] > Tap Yard 1x and Chiliad becomes a marshmallow with antennae > Quickly Tap 2x BUT hold down on 2nd tap and game will appear > Tap play button in center screen and continue to play.
--I take no thought what 1 is supposed to do in the game.
--To leave game: Back button, or Dwelling button, or Recent apps push.

Dear OP, did you try this??Search Moto upgrade service in apps and delete app data and that's it. Y'all have all done

Beloved OP, did yous try this??
Motorola Update Services application cannot Forcefulness Terminate, Clear Cache or Articulate Data. Those options are not allowed at least not from my unrooted Moto G Play. Nevertheless, I can and did Cake all notifications. So the download is lurking in the background, only not requesting to be installed.

Irrelevant post. Device Has nada relationship to G4 Play or parent visitor. Google is your friend; do a search.Pls who knows almost infinix hot 6 pro hither
